About Us

Our mission is dedicated to helping seniors to live their best retirement years regardless of physical and cognitive changes.

We aim to bring joy, fun and a sense of purpose to those in their Golden years, through programs designed with compassion and respect.”

— Chris Hopkins, Founder of MBSE

Chris graduated with a Masters Degree in Osteopathy, from the British School of Osteopathy in London in 2011. Osteopathy takes a holistic approach to manual therapy, and it showed the value of an active and varied life with regards to health.

Chris has been an avid tennis player since the age of 4 and coached all ages across the South of England and later Northern California .

Moving to the US, Chris used his Osteopathy training combined with over a decade of sports coaching experience to develop OsteoTennis, allowing seniors to play tennis for longer, whilst reducing injury risk.  His oldest client was still serving strong at 87! Chris also worked with a company developing and implementing Enrichment Programs in Elementary Schools throughout the Bay Area.

Once he moved to Sacramento, he worked in Life Enrichment at an Assisted Living facility and fell in love with helping seniors in assisted living and memory care. His passion for providing fun, engaging programming to Memory Care residents led him to found Mind and Body Senior Enrichment, to try to impact as many residents’ lives as possible!
